We’ve all sat through many long, boring, tedious, and often awful presentations. These two guys show us how it SHOULD be done. 

 

 

OK… so you will go "WHOLLY COW….!!!" within the first minute of this video. It’s impossible not to. We’ve brought you helicopter articles before here on WD, but nothing will prepare you for THIS. You KNOW this RC helicopter is super hard-core when you hear it start up. It sounds like a real one the way the engine whines to life. But the instant it takes to the air, any and all shreds of reality go flying out the window. I don’t have any details about the specs or the type or any of that techno guff. I just know that if ANY real helicopter I’m in EVER does ANYTHING resembling the things the RC one in this video does, then I’m asking for a refund. 

 

  

As awesomely spectacular as the RC helicopter itself is, you have to hand it to the "pilot" driving the thing. AMAZING skills I think best describes the way he manoeuvres the craft about.  If you think I’m building this up too much… just watch and judge for yourself. New Super Motor…?   Vote #1 Super Motor…

Bet the Socceroo’s would LOVE to get a score line anywhere NEAR this distant memory right about now. A nice video with some dry witty commentary to round out the farce that was Australia playing these Pacific Island nations in order to qualify for the Football World Cup.

This is Zack Kim, and Zack plays guitars. Yes that’s right, guitarS.  Zack is a pluralistic plucker who today is performing a verbatim version of the theme from the The Simpsons using TWO guitars. Very clever stuff…

 

 

If you know this theme as well as I do, you’ll know that this rendition is note-perfect, even down to the timing and inflection on particular notes and passages. As a guitar player I’m having trouble following the zipping hands across two guitars, let alone comprehending actually learning to play it THIS well.

 

 

Previously here at WD we brought you the golf-ball episode of Will It Blend. Today we have a special and spectacular double dose of WIB.  Our first contestant is the venerable JesusPhone from Apple. At a cost of US$600 this is definitely NOT something you’d want to try at home.  I really enjoy watching this over and over. Makes up for the saturation coverage this half-baked device has been receiving.

 

 

Next we have a solution for those nights when you’ve been out drinking and you get home and find yourself fumbling about in the dark for the house keys (assuming you’re allowed back in the house).

 

 

 

 

Just a couple of rough-and-ready phonecam panoramas I made while walking along on Saturday arvning.  Everytime I go there I tell myself "I’m NOT going to take any photo’s today…" but most of the time that’s not how it ends up. There’s always something that catches my eye. Most of the time I only have the trusty Motorola V3i along for the trip. Hence the proliferation of phonecam panoramas here on WD.

Today we bring you what is quite possibly the worlds best baby laughter. Now I’m no medical doctor, so I’m not sure if this kid is actually sick with some kind of chest infection, and if so then let’s hope Mom, Dad and the medicos have the well under control. Whatever the circumstances, this little tacker just LOVES watching Dad play golf of the Nintendo Wii.  I mean he REALLY loves it.

 

 

 It’s get funnier every time you watch it
