GAMES: The 3D Missile Game

In the 3D MISSILE game you play the part of a missile flying through a tunnel, dodging the obstacles along the way. You control your missile by simply moving your mouse. Move up to go up, left to go left… you get the idea.

It will probably take you a couple goes to get the hang of it and to grasp the idea behind the game. Basically you just have to weave your way successfully along the tunnel, threading your missile through the various holes and gaps. A couple of warnings. If you are like me and prone to motion sickness then don’t play this for too long. And after more than a few minutes, that music WILL be stuck in your head. GAMES: Lemonade Stand

The object of the LEMONADE GAME is to make as much money as you can in thirty days. You are running a lemonade stand. You have to set prices, determine the quality and content of your lemonade, and judiciously purchase your raw materials. Then depending on how you do, determines how much you sell each day.

You will need to factor in the temperature and weather forecast. You get feedback from your customers along the way, and at the end of each day there is a customer satisfaction rating. Once you have hset your parameters for the days trading and press GO, I recommend you click the FAST FORWARD button or it will be a looooong thrity days. At the end of each days trade, you get a report of how you did, and a message telling you that your remaining ice has melted. Click HERE to play and enjoy.

ISLAND MINI GOLF is the name of this game. One of the better web based mini golf games going around. From what I can gather the site where the games is hosted, relates to some sort of reality TV show with a Gilligans Island theme. But none of that is important to us.
 
Up to four people can play. The game is really simple. You select a place to tee-off, pull back your putter and hit the ball. It’s that easy. I can tell you that it is possible to get a score of under 30 strokes in this game but it takes some practice and you need to score at least seven hole-in-ones along the way.

Now I have a few suggestions you might find handy.  First is to turn the sound off.  It’s really annoying.  Just click the in-game icon and it’s gone. Ahhhh, that’s better. Why not pick something from our very own WD MOTD archives instead. 
 
As of the time this was posted, there is a really creepy ad down the bottom of the page.  If you are using Firefox with the AdBlock Plus extension, then you can easily remove the offending image as I did with a simple Right-Click –> AdBlock Image. If you’re using another browser such as Internet Explorer, then you should Consider Firefox, or deal with it in your own way as best you can. Possibly by scrolling the browser window down far enough so it falls off the bottom.. so to speak.

GAMES: Spaced Out Penguin

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get KEVIN THE SPACE PENGUIN back to his spaceship. It’s never made clear quite WHY Kevin is always getting OUT of his spaceship. That aside this is a fun game that can drive you mad.  Basically you are using a GPS (Giant Penguin Slingshot) to fire Kevin across the vast lonely emptyness of space, back to his ship in the FEWEST number of tries.  You get MORE points the LONGER DISTANCE the journey you take. Sounds confusing. It’s not once you get in there and start flinging Kevin about the universe.

Very easy in the early stages, it soon gets harder with the addition of planets, whose gravity affect Kevin’s trajectory just like in real space. Also there are BONUS spinny things you can use to get more points

DESCRIPTION:  "Pop the minimum number of bloons to pass each level. Pop special balloons for special effects. Play all 50 levels!"  Basically you’re a monkey and you’re mission is to throw darts at balloons, popping as many as you can to advance to the next level. Only one key required to drive your car “D” to accelerate, that’s it. note: if you’re playing SINGLE PLAYER racing against the computer, adjust the LEVEL up to 3 or 4 otherwise it’s too easy.
