Archive for the ‘fun’
If you’re going to try this at (someone else’s) home, and we highly recommend that you do
, always remember to use DIET softdrinks so there’s not a sticky mess to cleanup. Just a wet mess. My favourite part of this is the drips from the ceiling

Finally… Presentations Done Right
We’ve all sat through many long, boring, tedious, and often awful presentations. These two guys show us how it SHOULD be done.

Australia Destroys Amercian Samoa 31 - 0
Bet the Socceroo’s would LOVE to get a score line anywhere NEAR this distant memory right about now. A nice video with some dry witty commentary to round out the farce that was Australia playing these Pacific Island nations in order to qualify for the Football World Cup.
Have to say though…
I think if I lived HERE then I wouldn’t be
overlystressed about losing a game of soccer either.

A Glow In The Dark Martini Mixer
Previously here at WD we brought you the golf-ball episode of Will It Blend. Today we have a special and spectacular double dose of WIB. Our first contestant is the venerable JesusPhone from Apple. At a cost of US$600 this is definitely NOT something you’d want to try at home. I really enjoy watching this over and over. Makes up for the saturation coverage this half-baked device has been receiving.
Next we have a solution for those nights when you’ve been out drinking and you get home and find yourself fumbling about in the dark for the house keys (assuming you’re allowed back in the house).

Sulphur Hexaflouride: The Barry White Gas
It’s colourless, odourless, non-toxic, and non-flammable. Just like tofu. And much like tofu, Sulphur Hexaflouride gas is also six times denser than air which means it can be stored happily in open containers without escaping. We’ve all seen the crazy helium voices people can make when sucking in lungfuls of that inert gas. Have you ever wondered if there was such a thing as anti-helium ? Well according to the anti-periodic table there is no elemental gas that meets the requirements, however the molecular gas sulphur hexafluoride DOES fit the bill nicely. Observe…
Now with the help of sulphur hexaflouride, or SF6 as he’s known to his friends, you can sound just like soul legend Barry White at a moments notice. Sure to impress the ladies… or have them running onto the streets in fear, it’s all good.

Clever CD Hole Art Printing Ideas
Inkjet printers that print on the label-side of CD/DVD’s are the norm these days. As are the special printable discs to use with them. So it’s only natural that creative people will get creative and come up with some clever and artistic ideas to use all that nice white printable space. Beside just printing the boring details of what’s on the disc.. or that DVD cover you downloaded, for that movie you certainly did NOT download.

Check Out These Demonic Bedroom Curtains
These disturbing photos were taken with phonecam by WD after a big night out. Sitting on the edge of the bed, pondering if it was safe to lay my head down on the pillow, or if I needed to remain vertical just a bit longer. As I sat there reviewing the events of the night in my head, I noticed strange and demonic patterns appearing on the curtains in the room I was staying. The actual location will remain closely guarded secret for fear of Christian Fundamentalist reprisals. Those of you who recognise these curtains will know where they exist. Keep the secret safe, for the good of all that is holy and sacred.
Let me tell you, it’s was quite freaky at 4.12am in the morning when these images leapt out at me from what had once been merely simple bedroom curtains, but will now forever henceforth be known as DEMONIC…

The Vocal Impression Stylings Of Piotr
This is Piotr and he’s quite good at doing voice impresssions. We’ll be bringing you a selection of his work over the coming week here at WD. Our first entry is features SNL Host (Don Pardo,) Peter Falk, Al Pacino, Christopher Lee, Gollum, Robert Deniro, Louis Armstrong, Steve Irwin and Christopher Llyod.
The Al Pacino is excellent, the Christopher Llyod (the professor from Back To The Future.. yeah THAT guy..
) is also good. My favourite in this bunch is the Robert Deniro. 9.6 out of 10 for that one. Stay tuned for more Piotr.
