Shoreham Cove Beach Walking Saturday
Just a couple of rough-and-ready phonecam panoramas I made while walking along on Saturday arvning. Everytime I go there I tell myself "I’m NOT going to take any photo’s today…" but most of the time that’s not how it ends up. There’s always something that catches my eye. Most of the time I only have the trusty Motorola V3i along for the trip. Hence the proliferation of phonecam panoramas here on WD.
Wondering exactly where these pics were created…?
I didn’t think so. But just in case you were click HERE for a map.

Moments In Time Caputured In One Take
This is an interesting and clever short film. I say that because really it deserves more than the tag of simple "video". Clearly a lot of thought and effort went into the production. The results are high quality.
An interesting combination of time-lapse and stop-motion.
After watching, click HERE to reveal a surprising twist.

WWW = Worlds Worst Wesbite Designs
Now we’re not saying that WD is going to win a Web 2.0 design award, but our layout is clean and simple, content is orderly and easy to find. WD scales well across different monitor widths, and plays nicely with modern browsers. All in all, we like to think that WD is a "nice" site to visit. Then you come across sites out there like these:
This is actually one time that I recommend you view the sites using the INTERNET EXPLORER browser in order to get the full effect of the awfulness. I tried it with Firefox, and then again with Internet Explorer. It’s even MORE of an experience. Try it for yourself.
These web designers need a trip to the knackery. And don’t forget to SCROLL RIGHT
Prepare to be dazzled by Mia… and nauseous at the same time.
But it’s just terrible and qualifies for this list. Cheesey music included.
This site will make you car-sick and possibly give you epilepsy.
Warning - contains links to girls with boobies.
Proof that a trailer-park lifestyle involves marrying your cousin/sister.
C’mon dude…there’s bad… and then there is not even trying.
Even free ugly… is still ugly.
This guy should ask for a refund from his X dealer. Clearly a bad batch.
Can only hope he forgives the designers of this website.
Do you have examples of TRULY awful website designs. Let us know. Send a link to wdcontent@timdotnet.net or leave a comment.

Clever CD Hole Art Printing Ideas
Inkjet printers that print on the label-side of CD/DVD’s are the norm these days. As are the special printable discs to use with them. So it’s only natural that creative people will get creative and come up with some clever and artistic ideas to use all that nice white printable space. Beside just printing the boring details of what’s on the disc.. or that DVD cover you downloaded, for that movie you certainly did NOT download.

Happy 17th Birthday Spencer Elden
Who the heck is SPENCER ELDEN I hear you ask ? Well if you grew up in the 80’s and remember the dispruptive musical force that was NIRVANA arriving in the early 90’s, then you’re about to feel very OLD…
Back in 1991 a newly born baby Spencer Elden appeared on the cover of Nirvana’s iconical NEVERMIND album.
This week on June 27th, Spencer celebrated his 17th birthday.
Just to bring the memories flooding back, here’s a reminder of just how great an album it was, and remains today.

The Vocal Impression Stylings Of Piotr

Our first entry is features SNL Host (Don Pardo,) Peter Falk, Al Pacino, Christopher Lee, Gollum, Robert Deniro, Louis Armstrong, Steve Irwin and Christopher Llyod.
The Al Pacino is excellent, the Christopher Llyod (the professor from Back To The Future.. yeah THAT guy..
) is also good. My favourite in this bunch is the Robert Deniro. 9.6 out of 10 for that one. Stay tuned for more Piotr.

Kinetic Sculptures Powered By The Wind
Dutch artisit Theo Jansen calls himself a kinetic sculptor (what ever THAT is…
) who builds mechanical works of art that are self-powered by the wind. Whatever it is he does, Theo is a very clever man with an amazing "da Vinci" like vision for the structure and movement of the natural world. The results are spectacular…
