Right from the first frame you just KNOW this is going to end badly. But I give due credit the morons errr.. I mean producers, they did use editing to build the suspense nicely. There are many questions, most of which can be answered with the simple phrase "Just go around…"
I do take points OFF the producers however for choosing the "punchline" to be the thumbnail-frame for the video. I use this same service for some of my videos and unlike YouTube, they let you choose what frame from the video to use as the thumbnail. These clown-dacks either didn’t bother to change the auto setting (which is a random frame, half way through the video), or even worse they chose to use the punchline as the thumbnail. Either way, it’s the equivalent of the movie posters for Empire Strikes Back showing the scene from the end with the captioning "Luke… I AM your Father…"
As funny as this is, it’s also part of the reason why insurance premiums continue to rise. Often when these things end badly, it’s VERY badly for the individual at the centre of the action. Like this guy. These incidents get filed under the category of "Nature taking care of it’s own problem". However the guy in this 4WD video lived and was well enough to be home filling out the insurance forms that night.

GAMES: The 3D Missile Game
In the 3D MISSILE game you play the part of a missile flying through a tunnel, dodging the obstacles along the way. You control your missile by simply moving your mouse. Move up to go up, left to go left… you get the idea.
It will probably take you a couple goes to get the hang of it and to grasp the idea behind the game. Basically you just have to weave your way successfully along the tunnel, threading your missile through the various holes and gaps. A couple of warnings. If you are like me and prone to motion sickness then don’t play this for too long. And after more than a few minutes, that music WILL be stuck in your head. It’s not horrible music, just brain sticky. Click HERE to play.

Sit Down For Your Virtual Haircut
First things first. You WILL need headphones for this otherwise you might as well not bother. It won’t work. For those willing to take a few minutes to follow it through it’s worth your effort. If you’ve been reading this site for some time, you know that I’m NOT here to waste your time. If it wasn’t worth doing, I wouldn’t post it.
I suggest downloading the audio file onto your iPod or similar MP3 player. Put in your earbuds, sit down in your favourite chair, press PLAY and relax while our crew gives you a virtual trim and tidy up in the WD Barbershop. When listened to properly, in a quite room, with good earphones, this is a freakily cool experience. I’ve said too much already. Just download the sound file by RIGHT-CLICKING on the link below and SAVE-AS, and enjoy your virtual hair cut courtesy of the WD Team.
I just listened to it again for the purposes of writing this post and yeah…

Seville’s Solucar Solar Power Tower
In Spain the rain stays mainly on the plain… Well apparently NOT according to the folks who’ve built this amazing working full scale, production solar power tower to generate electricity near the city of Seville. You can click on the pics below to get a look at this marvel of modern engineering, but you need to watch the video to get a true appreciation for the enormous scale of it all.
Six hundred giant mirrors, one hundred meters tall, powering 60,000 homes. And all with ZERO emissions. Very clever people those Spanish
Countries like Australia are dilly dallying around talking about green-this and enviro-that and turning the whole issue into a political mess that will never ever get off the ground here. This is despite our climate and continent being the most ideal on Earth to support such technologies with hot, dry, sunny, geologically stable, modern technological infrastructure, easy access to technology and skilled workers needed to build and maintain such facilities, thousands of km2 of suitable land. Meanwhile Spain just goes ahead and DOES it. More here…

WD Beach Walk Sunday 27th May
This is some content created on my beach walk Sunday 27th May. Would have taken more but the batteries on the digicam decided to die suddenly. So this was all I got. This first one is your garden variety panorama pic. Nothing spectacular. The wrong time of the day for that kind of thing. It was interesting to note how the recent rains have greened up the dune vegetation considerably in the last few weeks. And the winter seaweed has started to arrive also. As always here on WD, you can Click The Pic to view the larger version.
The next item below is a short one minute video of a duck that was swimming about and "fishing" amongst the seaweed in the shallows a bit further along the beach. I’ve seen these ducks swimming at this beach many times, but this was the first time I had a digicam with me to capture the action. You can click HERE to view a map of the area showing the exact spots where this all took place.

George C Bush Enjoying The Saturday Sunshine
These are some pics of my coffee bush that I call George C Bush. I figure that my George is a least as smart as the other one. And I know he makes less mistakes and causes less misery in the world. Anyway, I’ve had him for nearly two years and he’s tripled in size during that time. I don’t know what varietal of coffee bush he is. All I know is he’s definitely from the coffea-arabica species ,the other species being coffea-canephora (robusta). Will have to wait a few more years until he fruits.
